State Energy Office

The mission of the State Energy Office is to promote energy conservation and efficiency in Kansas and to serve as a clearinghouse for information on alternative energy and other energy topics.

In support of this mission, the State Energy Office

• provides objective and up-to-date information on energy-related topics, including federal and state energy programs and incentives,
• administers energy efficiency programs,
• promotes public education through outreach activities, and
• fosters coordination throughout government and the private sector on energy-related activities.
